Mync is a media management tool that can register media of various formats as clips.  Users can group them by category and preview them quickly.

Managed clips can be used to create movies, then uploaded to video-sharing services by simple operations.

Notes

This product has the Amazon S3 direct access function.  The media files stored in Amazon S3 can be viewed and managed with this product.

  • The main specifications of EDIUS X Mync are the same as the permanent version of Mync Standard.

  • Do not apply the EDIUS X Mync setup file to the permanent version of Mync Standard.

What is Mync?

Video Player

The video player is powerful.  Native data for all kinds of video files, including 4K, can be played back at high speed.  You can also edit video easily and optimally according to the situation and purpose.

Media Management

Large image files and video files can be quickly shown as thumbnails, listed and searched.  Use easy operations to create original catalogs.  You can also sort image files and video files in the way you like.

Multi-format

Along with typical files from smartphones and DSLR cameras, a variety of file formats expected in professional situations, including Sony XAVC, Canon XF-AVC and Apple ProRes are also supported.

Share

You can upload files managed by Mync directly to YouTube, Vimeo. Moreover, as an FTP client, files can be uploaded to an FTP server, making it useful for professional applications.

Access to Amazon S3 object storage

Setting access information

Take the following steps to set up the access information.

  1. Amazon S3 access requires following information.  Please ask your administrator if you do not have those information

    - Access Key

    - Secret Access Key

    - Bucket/Prefix

  2. Menu -> [Settings] -> [Share]

  3. Click [+] botton to open the data input dialog box

  4. Enter the following fields, then close the window

    - Setting Name: Your preferred name to identify this access information

    - Access Key: Access Key to access your Amazon S3 bucket (storage area)

    - Secret Access Key: Secret access key to access your Amazon S3 bucket (storage area)

    - Bucket/Prefix: Amazon S3 bucket name and Prefix

Accessing media stored in Amazon S3 Storage

Amazon S3 Bucket will appear under the "Computer" category of Mync, so that users can access the media object stored in Amazon S3 in the same way as the media stored in conventional storages.
